Mommy, where do little bears come from??? |

Well, it's a long and complicated story, I can assure you, and we will make every effort to bore you with the details! It all began way back in the late 70's when a group of popular critter musicians named "The Country Bears", were travelling the world on a whirlwind tour. Now, you're gonna think that I'm gonna tell you that one of them hooked up with some cheap date one night, and Mr. Bear was born.... I only wish it were that simple, but it's a bit more complicated than that. ...Let me explain a bit about their background to clarify. For the most part, the guys were dedicated musicians, they loved their music, and almost only their music. Of course, old Zeb did have that little honey issue, but for the rest of the guys, all but one, it was only about the music. For Tennessee, his one and only true love was that of a lady Bear named Trixie. Though the love for his music paled in comparison to his love for her, just by her presence he was motivated to great heights, musically and emotionally! They had known each other for years and she was a part of the band, as much was any of the prior members was a part of this large musical family. As much as Trixie and Tenessee loved their extended family, there had always been an inkling between them both to have more of an atomic family, they wanted to raise their own child. Because you see, as much as a big family is a wonderful thing, there is no feeling quite like having a child whom represents the best qualities of their parents and their ability to share love and knowlege. And then there is Mr. Bear, whom noone knows what he represents, and as you will see, has absorbed no knowlege even though his adoptive parents tried to teach him. ...But I digress. One day Tennesee and Trixie decided to adopt a child, due to the fact that due to a technical difficulty Tennessee could not father a little one of his own. So they decided to look into alternative methods for inception, and discovered that there was one option they could use, called artificial insemination. They were on tour as always recently, since their movie debut, they had all been on a constant tour. So while on a stop over en-route to New York City from Ohio, they stopped in good ole Erie, PA! Which everyone knows is the best place to pick up some spare.... Uhm, you know, spare stuff and things... With this knowlege of their options, they stayed over in Erie, and did what they had to do to accomplish their task. Ans so, nine months later, Trixie was the mother of a fantastic looking newborn baby bear! Although we don't know what happened for that good looking baby to turn into Mr. Bear, but at the time he seemed ok. On through the years, Mr. Bears parents tried to educate him in the ways of the world, along with some street sense and common sense, all of which failed miserably. He just couldn't learn, noone knew why, since his Trixie was so smart, it was assumed to have been the biological fathers fault. Either way, his father and mother loved him very much, though they just did not have the time to take care of someone who needed as much help as Mr. Bear did. Especially when he was supposed to be an adult. So they began the search for Mr. Bears real biological father, which of course led them back to Erie, PA. And back to the fertility center where they received their "donated goods". Of course it was against company policy to reveal a donors identity, but this person had been the only one to ever use the facility to deposit his wares, and everybody in town knew who it was... So with a few well placed calls, the identity of Mr. Bears true father was known. And with this information, they sought him out, only to find him at a local Erie Community Access Television station. They discovered that he was a seedy television producer who was constantly struggling to make ends meet, and not having much luck at that But through speaking with him they found him to be a very dedicated and loving person, with alot of care to give. So they all agreed to transfer Mr. Bears care to Mr. Producer, and it was probably the best thing to happen to Mr. Bear and to them all! Mr. Producer was a very kind and loving father to Mr. Bear and continued to raise him as best as he could. One day Mr. Bear noticed that Mr. Producer was havibg a tough time getting the rent money together and was really stressed. So this good hearted bear decided to go out and find a job somewhere in Erie, hopefully something not too tough. He wandered off down the street in search of money to help his father so he could keep his new home and stay in Erie... |
